Hey there!

I’m Shawn, an ex-Royal Canadian Navy member who decided to get the ball rolling for my true passion: sports photography. That being said, I decided to trade the vastness of the ocean for the thrill of the sports arena, capturing athletes and coaches in the best light. Quite literally.

It all started at the Truro Raceway, where the energy of horse-cart racing got my heart racing and gave me that ‘Eureka!’ moment after 10 years of trying almost every photography genre. That’s when I knew this was my true calling. From there, I started photographing hockey, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, football…and any game where the action keeps us on the edge of the seat.

In my Nova Scotia home, I’m known as the best sports photographer – a title I’ll be wearing with pride until my daughter starts giving me a run for my money. My approach to photography is simple: it’s all about the moment. The sweat. The split-second decisions that define the game. The tears. The cheers. Regardless if it’s a hockey match, a basketball game, a volleyball game or any sport you can think of- I’ll be there, camera in hand, ready to freeze the action.

I strive to provide a window into the heart of the game, capturing the raw emotion and the occasional drama that unfolds in the field or court. I’m as flexible as it gets. My sports photography services aren’t just for the teams. They are also for parents who want to support and document their children’s athletic journey or for athletes who want to capture their highs and lows. Or just get fire pics to post on Instagram. I don’t judge.
